The program
Program: “Oasis Windermere Church Messages”. It is run by Iglesia Puerta del Cielo, Inc. (Oasis Windermere Church), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian church in the Windermere and Orlando, Florida area.
What we send
Informational messages about your own participation in the church (first checkbox):
- Discipleship: class reminders, notices about live classes and make-up classes, and your attendance QR code.
- Tickets and events: confirmation of your registration or purchase, your ticket with its QR code, and reminders before the event.
- Account access: links to sign in or reset your password.
- Your information: invitations to review and update your details with the church.
- Changes to events you registered for: time, place or cancellation.
Announcements and invitations (separate checkbox)
If you check the second box, which is separate and optional, we also send you church announcements and invitations: events, conferences, special services and activities. At most 4 messages per month. It is an independent permission: you can receive informational messages without accepting announcements.
How you opt in
We only text you if you check a consent box on one of our forms: discipleship enrollment, event registration or ticket purchase, or “My profile”, where you update your details. There are two separate boxes: one for informational messages and a separate one for announcements and invitations. Neither box is pre-checked, and you may accept one, both or neither. We record when, where and which box you accepted.
Agreeing to messages is optional: it is not required to enroll, register or buy a ticket.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your participation: for example, a reminder before each class or event you signed up for. Announcements and invitations, if you opt in to them, are at most 4 messages per month.
Message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. The church does not charge you for messages.
How to opt out and get help
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT or UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message. STOP cancels all messages, both informational and announcements. We will send one confirmation and you will receive no more messages unless you opt in again by replying START. You can also withdraw either permission separately from “My profile”.

WhatsApp messages
This consent covers text messages (SMS) only. WhatsApp messages are separate and need their own permission.
Mobile carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your privacy
We do not share, sell or rent your mobile phone number or your text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The details are in our Privacy Policy.
