Who we are
Oasis Windermere Church is a ministry of Iglesia Puerta del Cielo, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian church in the Windermere and Orlando, Florida area. This policy covers our website, our app and our messages.
What we collect
Only what you give us or what comes from taking part:
- Contact details: name, phone number, email address and mailing address.
- Your participation: discipleship enrollments, class and service attendance, and details you share with the church, such as your birthday or baptism.
- Events: your registrations and ticket purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card numbers.
- Basic technical data, such as IP address and browser, to keep things secure and to record your consent.
How we use it
To provide pastoral care, run discipleship and events, issue and check your tickets, give you access to your account, and contact you by email, SMS or WhatsApp when you have given us permission.
Your phone number and text messages
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or rent your mobile phone number.
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. Full details are in the Text Message Terms.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. It is shared only with the providers that help us deliver the service, and only for that: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS and WhatsApp delivery) and Microsoft (email). We may also share it if the law requires it. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we protect it
Access to your information is limited to the church team members who need it to serve you, and every change is logged. Our providers’ credentials are stored encrypted.
Your choices
You can review and correct your details from “My profile”, withdraw your permission to receive messages, or email us to correct or delete your information.
Children
Children’s information is provided by their parent or guardian and is used only for their care during church activities.
